Hailing from the Magic City Miami,FL DJ Flo was born into a city that had diversity written all over it. Growing up the music that flooded the streets was Miami Bass Lead by Miami’s own Uncle Luke, 2 Live Crew, and DJ Laz to name a few .That wasn’t the only genre of music flooding the streets Hip-hop, House and Latin music also had its grip on Miami’s music scene. Growing up Flo jammed to everything playing on Miami airwaves, so naturally when he decided to pursue djing at 11 years old he knew that Open Format was the way to go. Flo explains his style and outlook on his dj style saying, “ When I'm spinning at Events I am constantly looking at reactions to the music I drop. Making sure to keep the music selection go hand in hand with the energy on the dance floor . I make sure to keep that high energy during my entire set , keeping the party goers on the dance floor move to my beats all set long.

Flo’s very first club gig at 15 inside Club Space Miami during an all ages event only intensified his thirst to progress and master the craft of djing. Having spun inside Miami’s most influential nightclubs, his grind and talent got the attention of Miami Radio legend Dj Laz.He started interning for Laz at Power 96 where he quickly started learning the ropes of the radio business. In 2012, Dj Laz Started his own radio station at DJ1067fm where Flo was appointed the position of mix show coordinator.The constant grind of perfecting his own mix shows and helping his peers on their own shows gave Flo a real hold on what radio mixes should sound like. He is now a Part of Pitbulls elite team of DJs on his new Radio Station on Sirius XM, where he continues to put out his unique blend of Open format on display for the world to hear. Representing the city that made him who he is today, Flo continues to rock clubs worldwide, making each set as diverse as the next .His experience and talent makes party goers go wild to his music all night long.
